Hello and Welcome!
I am the_throwaway_life, and for my senior year Independent Study Project (see below) I am researching and experimenting with poetry.
Right now I know absolutely nothing. My blog documents my research and my work tab is where I try my hand at writing some poetry my own. I hope to be able to chronicle progress as I learn and practice.
Although most of my poems will likely be written, by early February- March I hope to start presenting some as spoken word.
Any feedback is always appreciated!

ISP? A what a what what?
The Independent Study Project, or ISP, is an assignment for juniors and seniors in my Gifted and Talented English program, known better as "Phoenix". The assignment spans the course of several months and allows students to take the time to explore interests and skills while learning the importance of organization and time management.
The ISP also allows students an opportunity to get involved in the community and global world. Although not necessary, in the past phoenix students have used it as a means to organize charitable and community events.
